On to the Sweet 16! On Saturday, March 23, the No. 11 NC State Wolfpack kept things rolling and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament with a 79-73 win over No. 14 Oakland. The Wolfpack will now face their toughest challenge yet in the No. 2 Marquette Golden Eagles.

Marquette hasn’t exactly coasted to the Sweet 16. Their Round of 32 game against Colorado came down to the wire with the Eagles eventually pulling off an 81-77 victory thanks to 20 points from KJ Simpson. While the Wolfpack have not faced the same level of talent as the Eagles, North Carolina State is arguably playing better basketball than Marquette right now. The Eagles needed every ounce of their talent to fight off Colorado, and the Wolfpack could easily come in after it all for the kill.

Here’s what to know for this Sweet 16 matchup.
