Huawei presents the wireless in-ear headphones FreeBuds 6i, with “quad magnet” technology and Hi-Res Audio Wireless

HUAWEI took advantage of the event organized in Dubai to mark the global launch of the Pura 70 series, but also to introduce other interesting products such as the HUAWEI Watch GT 4 Pro Space Edition watch (review here) or the fitness bracelet Watch Fit 3 (review here). We also add headphones to the list HUAWEI FreeBuds 6i about which we have more details in the lines below.

This is the successor to the FreeBuds 5i that I tested in January 2023. It brings notable upgrades, and what I notice from the start is that the quality of the materials has also increased, where the 5i gave the impression of being cheap, here it seems that the metal finish leads to the thought of a more expensive pair of headphones, more in the area of ​​the FreeBuds 3 Pro.

The new headphones deliver 11 mm dynamic drivers and support “Quad Magnet” technology, a first for this series of more affordable models from the HUAWEI portfolio. They have a triple adaptive equalizer, Hi-Res Audio Wireless capabilities, and as an autonomy we enjoy up to 35 hours with the help of the transport/power case.

FreeBuds 6i they feature Dynamic ANC 3.0 technology and also have some premium features seen on the FreeBuds 3 Pro. We still don’t have details about the price, but we are probably talking about an amount of around 100 euros.
