Although the launch of the Galaxy S25 series is many months away (January 2025), here the rumors continue to appear online, and if there will be no huge upgrades in the hardware department, it seems that a lot of news will arrive at the level of AI functions. Today we discover that Samsung is preparing a “Battery AI” function that will bring a significant boost to the performance of the battery from the inside.

The concept behind “Battery AI” is about using AI to intelligently manage background tasks and system resources, thus conserving power and improving battery life. Although we don’t have clear details on how it works, there are sources that talk about a 5-10% upgrade in the level of performance delivered by the battery.

Apparently the user experience will not suffer, that’s because Battery AI has the role of managing power consumption, while conventional power-saving apps compromise the performance of the device by reducing CPU and GPU frequencies.

We now await more details in the future and I still hope to see a boost to the power standard after years of being stuck at 25W on the base model.
