Google Pixel 8a comes with major display and storage upgrades; It promises updates for 7 years

Google is about to launch its new phone, the Pixel 8a, and even though many details have already made it into the public space, we now have full confirmation of the specifications. The device makes significant improvements over its predecessor, the Pixel 7a, enhancing the user experience with generous storage space and an impressive screen refresh rate.

At the base of the improvements is a storage space of up to 256GB, double that of the previous model, and a display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, which promises smooth navigation and a pleasant view. The 6.1-inch OLED screen offers an FHD+ resolution and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, supporting HDR and having an impressive contrast.

Despite minor increases in battery life, Pixel 8a promises an autonomy of over 24 hours, with the possibility of extending up to 72 hours in Extreme Battery Saver mode. In addition, it supports Qi wireless charging, maintaining the acclaimed features of the previous model.
