Galaxy A04e and Galaxy A13 5G get more security with March 2024 update

Samsung has released the March 2024 security update for two more entry-level smartphones: the Galaxy A04e and the Galaxy A13 5G. The two phones are getting the new update in several parts of Asia and Europe. Other high-end phones like the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 are getting the One UI 6.1 update instead.

Galaxy A04e: Available in more countries

The latest software update for Galaxy A04e is available with firmware version A042FXXS6DXC4. This can be downloaded in Afghanistan, Caucasus countries, Egypt, Fiji, Indonesia, Iraq, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Thailand, Philippines , United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine and Vietnam. – Soon also in Romania

Galaxy A13 5G: Launched in several European countries

New update for Galaxy A13 5G is rolling out with firmware version A136BXXS6DXC3 in Austria, Croatia, Egypt, France, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Czech Republic and UK . You can install the new update on your device by navigating to Settings » Software Update and tapping Download & Install. You can also manually download the new firmware file from our database and install it.

These updates include fixes for 44 security vulnerabilities as part of the March 2024 security patch. Outside of the security patches, these updates do not bring any new features or performance improvements. Both phones already run One UI 6.0 software based on Android 14 and will receive the One UI 6.1 update before the end of the first half of this year.
