UEFA will decide the situation of Corvinul Hunedoara if they win the Romanian Cup

The Romanian Football Federation sent the names of the teams that received the license to participate in the next season in the competitions organized by UEFA in a press release.

According to FRF.ro, all the teams participating in the play-off will be able to perform in the European cups, and from the play-out, only Oțelul Galați, Cluj University and FC U Craiova 1948 (last ranked) received the license.

At the same time, the officials from the management of Romanian football conveyed that in the case of Corvinul Hunedoara, a team without promotion rights in the Romanian SuperLiga, the decision to grant the license for the European cups will belong to the UEFA continental forum.

Of course, the Hunedomen will have to win the final of the Romanian Cup, where they will face Oțelul Galați.

“Regarding CS Corvinul 1921 Hunedoara, the Licensing Administration cannot provide details at this time about the licensing process, because the extraordinary licensing procedures are carried out by UEFA. According to UEFA’s Licensing Regulations, only it can grant special permission to a club to enter UEFA club competitions.” – it is stated in the official press release of the FRF.
