The driver who hit a woman on the pedestrian crossing in Ploiesti was drunk

The 69-year-old driver who hit a 61-year-old woman, who was crossing Soşela Vestului in Ploiesti, in the Lidl area, had consumed alcohol before getting behind the wheel.

According to the Prahova Police, the woman was transported to the hospital for specialized medical care.

The man was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being 0.09 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air.

In the case, the investigations are being continued by the police in order to establish all the circumstances in which the road event occurred.
