Hagi, in the ninth heaven after Farulu’s run in the play-offs: “Everything was done well”
Farul Constanța defeated Rapid Bucharest with a score of 3-1 (1-1), on Wednesday evening, at home, in Ovidiu, in a match from the sixth stage of the play-off phase of the Superleague football.
Farul opened the scoring through Louis Munteanu (40), who scored from a slide, after Mihai Popescu’s cross. The score at halftime was equal, after the Kosovar Albion Rrahmani scored from the penalty (45+4), after a handball committed in the box by Dragoş Nedelcu, on Andrei Borza’s shot.
The champion made the difference in the second half, with two goals scored within three minutes by players introduced at halftime by Gheorghe Hagi. Luca Andronache (67) scored from Munteanu’s pass, and Amine Benchaib (69) scored with a long corner kick.
“Congratulations to the team and those behind. Everything was done well. My congratulations three times. It reminds me of last year’s team.

After this success, Farul returned to the second position in League 1, with 35 points, but they have one game more than Craiova University.
