Bucharest has become a city full of posters, banners, tents and political spots. All these materials placed in the public space should disappear from the streets because we are officially entering the electoral campaign period, and the rules are changing radically.
Some parties have already begun to dismantle them, others are taking advantage of the last hours in the hope that they will win a few more votes in the June 9 elections.
All the parties competed in promises and in ideas to promote the candidates, which were more innovative. Even so, for some it was not lucky even now, a month before the elections.
The electoral regulation says that at the beginning of the campaign all political promotion sites should disappear from the city streets.
Whether we are talking about the billboards or the tents placed on the sidewalks, Bucharest has become a great platform for electoral promotion.

Such tents were registered at the town hall as signature collection points for the candidates registered for the next electoral elections. But very often, not even a volunteer did such a thing in such points.
In sector 1, for example, the picture of George Tuţă, PSD PNL candidate for the Sector 1 City Hall, reached all the posts located on the most important roads. The AUR tents were blown down by the wind, and the humanists’ tents remained standing but were scrawled.
During the electoral campaign, the parties will be allowed to use only materials that do not exceed the size of an A3 sheet, and the electoral spots will not be able to last longer than 60 seconds.
From Friday morning, Bucharest should once again have free sidewalks and poles without banners on them.
