Bihor County Council buys equipment and machinery for the dual education campus set up in Oradea.

The investment of almost 10 million lei will consist of welding robots, simulators and 3D printers, interactive whiteboards, tablets and other digital devices useful for learning trades. Software licenses and a learning platform will also be purchased.

According to a press release sent on Wednesday by CJ Bihor, the tender for the digitization of the campus was divided into 3 lots, and for each of them a profile company submitted an offer: Inovum SRL from Oradea, High-Tech Systems & Software SRL from Bucharest and Ro Et Co International SA from Oradea.

“The estimated total value of the purchase is 9,578,811.94 lei, excluding VAT. Next comes the financial and technical evaluation of the submitted offers and the designation of the winners”, stated CJ Bihor. Each lot has a value of approximately 3.2 million lei.

Built next to the University of Oradea, on Ceyrat Street, the Oradea Campus will be the place where students who finish the 8th grade will be able to learn a trade, if they opt for dual education. The theory classes will be held in their schools, but the practical lessons or laboratories will take place on campus, where they will also have other facilities, such as a dining hall or a swimming pool.

The dual campus was built and equipped through an investment of over 146 million lei, the equivalent of 29 million euros, supported by the National Recovery and Resilience Program.
