Ten local policemen from Sibiu are in Bucharest on Wednesday together with other agents from all over the country.
Ten police officers from the Sibiu Local Police, members of the National Federation of the United Trade Unions of the Local Police Romania, affiliated to the National Trade Union Bloc, are protesting on Wednesday, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., in Victoriei Square in the capital.

The local police sent the list of demands, as follows:
- The application of the working conditions, provided by the Local Police Law no. 155/2010, for local police officers;
- Granting the values of the mandatory food standards for local police personnel according to MDPLA Order no. 893/2023, OG No. 26/1994 and HG no. 1474/2009;
- Granting financial compensation to local police personnel, for work performed on weekends and public holidays;
- Modification of the provisions of GEO no. 63/2010, in the sense of replacing the phrase 1 post/1000 inhabitants/ with 1 local police officer/1000 inhabitants.
