The City Hall gives 850,000 lei for mowing the grass and weeds in the parks and green areas of Sibiu

The City Hall of Sibiu is looking for a company to mow the grass and weeds in the parks and green areas of the city. The contract has a value of 850,000 lei.

The municipality wants the first mowing of the grass to take place in July, so by then the contract will have to be signed, which lasts 4 months. The area that should be mowed is a maximum of 2,931,035 square meters, this includes all parks, squares, green areas and street alignments.

“The mowing of grass and weeds will be done on the entire surface, without leaving areas that have not been intervened or intervened unevenly, and the final height, after mowing, should be approximately 5 cm. the removal of the vegetation around the plants (trees/shrubs/flowers/roses, etc.) will be done manually or mechanically, with garden shears with a battery, without affecting or injuring them”, the specifications state.

The grass will be mowed, between July and October, from the 9 parks in the city, namely Cetății Park, Cristianului Park, Petofy Sandor Park, Reconstrucții Park, Sub Arini Park, Policlinicii Park, Șițeica Park, Darwin Park and Belvedere Park. The grass will also be mowed from the squares and green areas (633,671 sq m), from the street alignments (293,590 sq m), as well as from the 21 neighborhoods (614,448 sq m).
