The municipality of Vaslui is hosting, starting tomorrow, the National Mathematics Olympiad for the 5th and 6th grades. The event is organized by the Ministry of Education, in partnership with the Romanian Society of Mathematical Sciences.

192 students from 41 counties of the country participate.

A lavish program was prepared for them, as he stated, the spokesperson of Vaslui City Hall, Geanina Tofan: The choice of our city to host this Olympiad is, for us, a proof of the appreciation of our work to keep education at the high level it deserves. We have hosted other such school events in previous years and we believe that every time, our guests were left with a pleasant impression of the good collaboration between the Vaslui units, the Vaslui County School Inspectorate and the Vaslui City Hall.
