The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued, on Wednesday, a code yellow warning of torrential rains, electrical discharges and hail, for several counties in the country, including Cluj.
The warning is valid until 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8.
According to the meteorologists, there will be periods of heightened atmospheric instability that will be manifested by torrential downpours, frequent electrical discharges, hail, intensification of wind and storms in Oltenia, northwestern Muntenia, western and southwestern Transylvania, as well as in the Western Carpathians and Southerners.
Also until 23:00 in short time intervals or through accumulation, the water quantities will be 20…25 l/m2 and isolated over 40 l/m2.
