Several drivers were left without a license and were fined for driving their cars on national roads in Argeş county at speeds higher than the maximum speed limit on the highway.

A 41-year-old driver from Bucharest was caught by the Rada device at a speed of 136 kilometers per hour on DN 65B, where the limit is 70 km/h. He was penalized for contravention, according to GEO 195/2002R, and his driver’s license was withheld in order to suspend the right to drive for 90 days.

Also, the police officers from the Pitesti Road Bureau detected a 38-year-old man from Pitesti who was driving a car at excessive speed on DN 65B. He was recorded by the Radar device at a speed of 128 km/h, on a road sector with a 70 km/h limit. The Pitesti resident was fined, and his driver’s license was withheld in order to suspend the right to drive for 90 days.

On Easter Saturday, police officers from the Argeș Road Service detected a 47-year-old man from Brașov who was driving a car at excessive speed on DN 73 – Șițești. He was recorded by the Radar device at a speed of 118 km/h. As a result of the violation, the person in question was penalized for contravention, according to GEO 195/2002R, and the driver’s license was withheld in order to suspend the right to drive for 90 days.

On Easter day, police officers from the Câmpulung Road Office detected a 25-year-old man from Giurgiu municipality, who was driving a car on DN 73, within the radius of Mihăesti, where he was recorded by the RADAR device at a speed of 130 km /h. As a result of the violation, the driver was penalized for contravention, with a fine of 1,485 lei, according to GEO 195/2002R, and the driver’s license was withheld, in order to suspend the right to drive for 120 days, being issued proof substitutes without right of circulation.
