Unique exhibition at the museum in Alba Iulia, from June 1: Over 170 plastic figurines of Batman and his enemies will be exhibited

The National Union Museum in Alba Iulia will host an unprecedented exhibition for almost a month. The exhibition was designed for the little ones, on the occasion of June 1, International Children’s Day.

This is a private collection of plastic figurines of the comic book and movie character, Batman.

A collection that counts more than 170 plastic figures with Batman, Robin and their enemies: Joker, TwoFace, The Penguin, or Poision Ivy. Several superhero cars (Batmobile) will also be on display.

The exhibition will be unique because the pieces are part of a single series by the American toy manufacturer, Kenner. The figures in the collection were produced and sold between 1989 and 1997, when the American company was the only one with production rights.

The collection belongs to alba24.ro reporter, Cristian Panu. He started collecting figurines several years ago, and over time he managed to collect a good part of the toys produced during that period.

Plastic figurines with the characters from the “Batman The Animated Series” movies, “Batman and Robin”, “Batman Returns”, “Batman”- 1992 and “Batman Forever” will be exhibited.

Several figurines from the “Legends of Batman” series will also be exhibited, a series in which the Batman character is presented in different periods of humanity.

The collection will be exhibited in the North wing of the Union Hall, between May 16 and June 9. It was designed to be exhibited on the occasion of June 1, International Children’s Day.

The official opening of the exhibition will be on Thursday, May 16, from 12.00.

Admission for the duration of the exhibition will be free for children.
