Police officers from Neamț intervened yesterday in two road accidents, one in Boghicea and another in Pâncești, resulting in the injury of a female driver and a minor.
Yesterday, May 7, the police were asked to intervene in two road accidents. The first incident took place on DJ 207A, in the town of Boghicea, around 15:00. A 50-year-old female driver, while making a left turn, was hit by a car driven by a 55-year-old man, who was in an overtaking maneuver.

“Following the investigations carried out by the police, it emerged that while a 50-year-old woman was driving a car, on the indicated road sector, she allegedly made a left turn, being hit by a car, driven by a 55-year-old man who was engaged in overcoming it.
As a result of the road accident, the 50-year-old woman was injured. Both drivers were tested with the breathalyzer, the results were negative.
The police are continuing the investigation regarding the commission of the crime of culpable bodily harm.” – the Neamt Police sent
Shortly after this incident, around 16:30, another accident occurred on DN 15D, in the town of Pâncești. A 26-year-old man surprised and attacked a 14-year-old minor who was crossing the street in an unauthorized place.
“Following the investigations carried out by the police, it emerged that, while a 26-year-old man was driving a car, on the indicated road sector, he allegedly surprised and hit a 14-year-old minor, who would have engaged in crossing the street through the place without pedestrian markings.
As a result of the road accident, the pedestrian was injured. The driver was tested for alcohol, the result was negative.
