Two individuals were detained by law enforcement from Ilfov county, after violently settling their accounts in the town of Chiajna, with a young man who owed them money.

The two lured a 21-year-old young man to meet them near a car service in the area, claim sources close to the investigation and quoted by the Observer, indicating that the young man owed more than 40,000 euros to the two individuals.

Also, one of the sources in the investigation claims that, upon arriving at the car service, the aggressors launched a brutal physical attack on the victim, using their fists, legs and a club.

After immobilizing the young man, they took him inside the building, continuing to assault him. Following the incident, the victim was left on the verge of losing consciousness, and the two individuals stole two mobile phones and the key to his personal car.

The perpetrators will be behind bars for the next 30 days

On Wednesday morning, the law enforcement officers of the IPJ Ilfov searched three locations in the locality and arrested the two aggressors.

They were detained for a period of 24 hours and will appear before a magistrate on Thursday to decide whether they will be remanded in custody for the next 30 days.

The two individuals are now indicted in a criminal case for multiple crimes, including physical assault, unlawful deprivation of liberty, blackmail and aggravated robbery. If convicted, he faces severe prison terms.

The investigation reveals that the two have an extensive criminal history with an emphasis on violence. One of the suspects, Nicolae Alexandru Iordan, is recognized in the local community as a leader of the Iordan clan, having previously been accused of murder and involvement in the theft of weapons in 2010.
