ATTENTION, DRIVERS! Traffic restrictions on DN 2B, Buzau

Traffic restrictions on DN 2B, Buzău – Brăila, under the administration of DRDP Buzău, imposed as a result of the railway level crossing modernization works carried out by CFR SA.
With a view to the execution by CFR SA of “Level crossing modernization works at km 172+294, between FĂUREI – DEDULESTI stations and the doubling of the semi-barriers at the BAT installation”, in the period 08.05.2024 – 20.05.2024, the national road DN 2B, located in administration of DRDP Buzău, will be completely closed to road traffic, except for riverside ones, between km 47+000 – km 50+237, intersection CF line 700 Făurei – Galaţi, railway km 172+294.
Traffic diversion bypass: DN 2B km 47+000 – DJ 203S – DJ 203 (Făurei locality) – DN 2B, km 50+237.
The motivation for the establishment of the traffic restriction: Replacement works of existing reinforced concrete slabs and the installation of new rubber slabs, approved by AFER, in the work: “Modernization works of level crossing km 172+294, between FĂUREI – DEDULESTI stations and the doubling of half-barriers at the installation KNOCK ON”.
Also, in the period, 08.05.2024 – 17.05.2024, in view of the execution by CFR SA of “Level crossing modernization works at km 155+836, between the Cilibia – CA Rosetti Stations and the doubling of the semi-barriers at the BAT installation”, road traffic will be completely closed, except for riversiders, on DN 2B, road km 32+185, on DN 2B between km 27+660 and km 42+850, at railway km 155+836, in Bâlhacu township, Buzău county, between Cilibia stations – CA Rosetti.
Traffic diversion bypass: DN 2B, km 27+660 – DJ 203I (Cilibia – Caragele) – DJ 214A (Caragele – Luciu – Largu – Rusețu) – DJ 203N Rusețu – Surdila Greci – DN 2B, km 42+850.
The motivation for the establishment of the traffic restriction: Dismantling works of the existing concrete slabs and the installation of new rubber slabs, approved by AFER, in the work: “Works to modernize the level crossing at km 155+836, between the Cilibia – CA Rosetti Stations and the doubling of the semi-barriers at the BAT facility”.
The restrictions came into force today, starting at 11.30 am.
