The incident happened on Tuesday evening, in Deva, while a 26-year-old driver did not take insurance, after he went out with the car that was parked on the sidewalk and hit a woman while reversing. The 68-year-old victim, from Brad, was transported to the hospital in Deva.
“On May 7, 2024, at around 6:50 p.m., the Police of the Municipality of Deva were alerted to the fact that, on 22 Decembrie boulevard, in Deva (in the area of the hospital), a road accident occurred.
Following the checks carried out, the police established the fact that a 26-year-old man from Deva, after parking his car on the pavement in front of a pharmacy, moved backwards to get off the pavement, he did not secure himself properly and hit a 68-year-old woman from the municipality of Brad, who was on the sidewalk, behind the car.
The accident resulted in bodily injury to the woman, who was transported to the Deva County Emergency Hospital for medical care (without remaining hospitalized)”, states IPJ Hunedoara.
