Local police officers protest in front of the Government Radio Bucharest FM – Radio Music Live Online

Local police officers are protesting in front of the Government. Today’s protest was authorized by the Capital City Hall, it starts at 10:00 a.m. and should end at 1:00 p.m.

According to the National Trade Union Bloc, at the beginning of December last year, the Federation of United Local Police Unions started a public campaign to draw attention to the importance of the existence of local policemen in society.

The National Federation of United Unions of the Local Police Romania requests:

• The application of the working conditions, provided by the Local Police Law no. 155/2010, for local police officers;
• Granting the values ​​of the mandatory food standards for local police personnel according to MDPLA Order no. 893/2023, OG No. 26/1994 and HG no. 1474/2009;
• Providing financial compensation to local police personnel for work performed on weekends and public holidays;
• Modification of the provisions of GEO no. 63/2010, in the sense of replacing the phrase 1 post/1000 inhabitants/ with 1 local police officer/1000 inhabitants.
