Wednesday, starting at 3 p.m., at the CNAS headquarters in Bucharest, on Calea Călăraşilor no. 248, a civil defense exercise will take place which will consist of simulating the outbreak of a fire on one of the floors of the building, the institution’s press office announces.
“During the exercise, the people in the building will be evacuated, its electricity and natural gas supply will be interrupted, the fire will be simulated with the technical means provided and first aid will be given to an alleged victim. At the same time, the alerting of the emergency services will be simulated by calling the telephone number 112, after which they will move to the place of the exercise appropriate technical means for the simulated situation”, CNAS representatives convey.
According to them, the exercise will be carried out by CNAS personnel with duties in the field of civil defense.
The estimated duration of the exercise will be approximately two hours.
