VRANCEA COUNTY: TRAFFIC STOPPED ON DN 2, FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT

The INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police informs that on DN 2 Bacău-Focșani, at the exit from Adjud locality, Vrancea county, there was a collision between three vehicles, resulting, according to the first data, in the injury of six people, who are medically evaluated on site.

Road traffic is stopped in both directions, making it difficult to travel on the shoulder next to the carriageway. Normal traffic is expected to resume in 45-60 minutes.

In order to prevent road accidents, we advise drivers to drive with increased caution, to keep the legal distance between vehicles and to make sure when changing the direction of travel.

Four crews from ISU Vrancea intervene with 1 emergency vehicle, 1 extrication vehicle and 2 SMURD ambulances, to a road event on DN2 E85, in the Adjud area, in which 3 cars were involved. As a result of the event, 6 injured victims resulted, two of them being extricated by the military firefighters.

Traffic police officers intervene at the scene of a road accident, notified by calling 112.
According to the first data, around 1:25 p.m., on DN 2 E 85, on the border with Bacău county, a collision between 3 vehicles took place.
6 people were injured, traffic being completely blocked.

For the Focșani – Bacău direction, redirection is made on DN 11 A, and for Bacău – Focșani through the town of Șișcani.

Communicated by the County Ambulance Service (SAJ): Today at 1:27 p.m., the SAJ Vrancea dispatcher received a request for a road accident on E 85 at the exit from Adjud to Sascut, three cars involved. Upon request, two SAJ type B2 medical crews, one SAJ type C2 medical crew and two SMURD first aid crews were dispatched. 8 victims were identified, two incarcerated. Two victims refused transport to the hospital. Two minors, aged 5 and 7, with polytraumas from a road accident, were transported to CPU Adjud from where they were transferred to UPU Focșani. A 46-year-old male victim with polytrauma due to a road accident was transported to the Focșani Emergency Unit. A female victim, aged 38, with abdominal and lower limb trauma, was taken and transported to the Focșani Emergency Unit. Two victims were transported to the Adjud CPU.
