The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management (INHGA) issued, on Tuesday, a Code Yellow flood warning, valid until midnight on rivers in four hydrographic basins, within 12 counties, reports Agerpres.

According to hydrologists, between the hours of 13:00 and 00:00, based on the current hydrometeorological situation and the weather forecast, for the next 24 hours, important leaks on slopes, torrents and streams, flash floods, increases in flows and levels may occur , with possible exceedances of the Attention Quotas, on the following watercourses: Argeş – upper basin, Dâmboviţa – upper basin (counties: Argeș and Dâmboviţa), Ialomiţa – upstream basin of the Pucioasa Reservoir and tributaries related to the downstream sector of the Pucioasa Reservoir – upstream SH Siliştea Snagovului (counties: Dâmboviţa, Prahova and Ilfov), Prahova – upper basin and middle and lower basin tributaries (counties: Prahova and Ialomiţa), Buzău – tributaries related to the downstream sector of Nehoiu SH – upstream SH Banita (counties: Buzau and Prahova), Moldova – upper basin and middle and lower basin tributaries (counties: Suceava and Neamţ), Bistrita – upstream basin Cârlibaba SH and tributaries related to the downstream sector of Cârlibaba SH (counties: Suceava, Neamţ, Harghita and Bacău) and Jijia – upper basin and basin tributaries middle and lower (counties: Botoşani and Iasi).

INHGA mentions that the forecasted hydrological phenomena can occur with greater probability and intensity on some small rivers in Dâmboviţa, Prahova and Iasi counties.
