Rivers from Argeş, Dâmboviţa, Prahova, Ilfov, Ialomiţa, Buzău, Suceava, Neamţ, Harghita, Bacău, Botoșani and Iași counties are targeted.

Considering the current hydrometeorological situation and the weather forecast for the next 24 hours, as a result of the forecasted precipitation and propagation, significant runoff on slopes, torrents and streams, flash floods on small rivers with possible local flooding effects and increased flows may occur and levels on some rivers in the Argeş, Ialomiţa, Siret and Jijia hydrographic basins, with possible exceeding of the attention quotas, the hydrologists state.

The warning mainly concerns the phenomena of important leaks on slopes, torrents and streams, rapid floods on small rivers with possible local flooding effects, which can occur with greater probability and intensity on some small rivers in Dâmboviţa, Prahova and Iași counties.

The alert is in effect on Tuesday between 13:00 and 24:00.
