The president of the Cluj County Council (CJ), Alin Tișe, said that he goes all over Cluj county and is not afraid that people swear at him, stating that most of Cluj know the difference between a politician who only promises and one who fights for the voters.

At the same time, Alin Tișe stated, on a local radio station, that most people are dissatisfied with the government in Bucharest.

“They are extremely dissatisfied with government, national policy. People make a clear distinction between central and local government. They complain about everything: wages, pensions, bad government, incompetence, stupid laws that create problems for them. People must be understood, they no longer have an appetite for politics because it, in the last 30 years, of which I am also a part, has not been able to live up to expectations”, said Alin Tișe.

Alin Tișe: “Cluj can be a model in the future”

Also, the president of the CJ Cluj stated that the people of Cluj understand politics and know the difference between the things promised and the things done.

“There are people who appreciate this activity, but there are others who criticize us. The biggest gain is that I can walk around the county without fear of people swearing at me, without having people to guard me. Without fearing that people will bully me. The normality we have in Cluj is the great gain. People tell you what you did, what you didn’t do. People expect you to work with all parties. Just because you win the election by 50%, that doesn’t mean you have to neglect others. You have to take them into account as well”, Tişe also stated.

Asked about the voter turnout on June 9, in the European parliamentary and local elections, Alin Tișe declared that 5 out of 10 Cluj residents will go to the polls.

“I feel that half of Cluj residents will go to vote: 5 out of 10 people. I wish they would all go. In the end it is everyone’s choice. We cannot force people to vote. In the local elections, I believe that in previous years there was a 50-60% turnout. I don’t have a clear statistic. We have the joint list with PSD and we can have two people to represent Cluj in Brussels: Daniel Buda, from PNL, and Vasile Dîncu, from PSD”, said Tișe.

Alin Tișe: “I would say that good things have been done in Cluj and people see it”

The president of Cluj also spoke about the DJ 107P – Gilău – Mărișel modernization project, an investment of over 20 million euros.

“I can say that there is also an end of the road here. I also told the people of Mărișel commune to imagine that it is the budget for 100 years. I, together with my colleagues, bring the European money for the community. They come if you have people who know their job, are motivated, do projects and win them. Money doesn’t just come. If we had not found the optimal team to win projects, Cluj would not be in first place today when it comes to European funds. There would have been no money for roads, for hospitals.
Since I entered politics, I wanted to be able to leave tangible things, so that people could find out for themselves. Let’s not say we did it. I am satisfied that after a few years, people from different parties no longer dispute the good evolution of the infrastructure in Cluj county. I would say that good things have been done in Cluj and people see it”, concluded Alin Tişe.
