Many Romanians can receive up to 12,000 lei from the state, but few of them know this.

The major labor force crisis causes the Government to take other money from the budget. Thus, in order to stimulate young people to work, the Ministry of Labor offers a series of bonuses.

For example, young people who will change their city for a job will receive over 12 thousand lei. For that, however, he must stay at that job for at least one year, in order to receive the full amount.

And graduates who are unemployed and find work receive a bonus of almost two thousand lei.

Unemployed young people who do not receive allowance can get 1,000 lei from the state if they find a job and if they stay at that job for at least three months, and graduates who find work within a maximum of 60 days after graduation can receive almost 1,800 lei. They will receive half at the time of employment and the rest of the money after 12 months.

The government is also introducing an employment premium of 55 lei/day, for one year, for those who find work at least 15 km from home.

There is also a relocation premium of 900 lei per month, if the job is more than 50 km from home.

And young people who change their domicile get even more money.

“The installation premium is in the amount of 12,500 lei for people who find a job at a distance of more than 50 km and change their domicile”, explained Corina Scarlat, spokesperson for ANOFM, on Antena 3 CNN.

Those who want to benefit from premiums must be in the ANOFM records and submit a request in this regard.

“We pay special attention to the employment of young people and especially young NEETs, i.e. people who are under 30 years old and are not, do not go to work, do not go to school or attend professional training courses”, he added said Corina Scarlet.

Romania has the highest proportion in the European Union of young people between the ages of 15 and 29, who neither have a job nor follow any form of education.
