A 33-year-old man, a foreign citizen, who was driving within the Poieni area, was caught behind the wheel dead drunk and without an international driver’s license.
Testing with the breathalyzer indicated a concentration of 1.15 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air, after which he was taken to a medical unit in order to collect the biological samples necessary to establish the blood alcohol level.
“On May 5, at around 3:30 p.m., the policemen of Section 8 of the Huedin Rural Police, with the support of those from the city of Huedin, detected a 33-year-old man, a foreign citizen, who was traveling within the Poieni area with a van , without holding an international driver’s license.
In the case, investigations are being carried out under the aspect of committing the crimes of driving a vehicle without a driver’s license and driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol”, informed IPJ Cluj.
