The Arad Museum Complex opens on Wednesday, May 8, at 6:00 p.m., a first thematic exhibition from the “Arada Firefighters – history and identity” project dedicated to those who fight fires, explosions, accidents, floods or other calamities, saving lives and risking and often one’s own existence.

The exhibition, entitled “History of the civil firefighters of Arad”, is open at the Clio hall until May 12 and will be followed by a second exhibition, “Technique and innovation: the evolution of fire-fighting means in the Arad region”, open in the same hall between May 14 and 19, which showcases the history and technology used by volunteer firefighters.

Between May 21 and 26, the “Clio” hall will host the exhibition “Heroes on duty: firefighters and the Arada community”, and the fourth thematic exhibition, “In the service of safety: military firefighters in the contemporary world”, open between May 28 and June 2, brings to the public the latest and most spectacular equipment of military firefighters for the daily confrontation with fire or other types of risk.

Visiting hours of the exhibitions are from Tuesday to Sunday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
