A headquarters in Bucharest of the Agency that accredits, authorizes and evaluates schools and kindergartens in the public or private education system, ARACIP, was broken into on April 8, according to a response from the Capital Police to Edupedu.ro’s request.

In the case, investigations are being carried out for attempted aggravated theft, states the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest. At the same time, the president of the ARACIP council, Mariana Dogaru, refused to answer the questions of Edupedu.ro, contacted on May 3, defying the journalists even on International Press Day.

More precisely, the break-in took place at the headquarters of the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Pre-University Education (ARACIP) on Grigore Mora Street, Sector 1.

Representatives of the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest (DGPMB) confirmed the incident for Edupedu.ro and said that investigations are currently being carried out by the police under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the 1st District Court.
