THE RESULTS OF THE ACTIONS CARRIED OUT BY THE VRANCEN POLICE OFFICER DURING THE EASTER MINI-HOLIDAY

In the context of the May 1st and Easter mini-holiday, the policemen from Vrancea were on duty, for public order and safety, the flow of road traffic and the prevention of victimization through various types of crimes. Almost 1,500 people were identified during the road filters and over 590 drivers were tested for alcohol or drugs, over 1,200 sanctions were applied and 81 driving licenses were suspended.

More than 1,000 Vrancea policemen were on duty, so that the mini-holiday on May 1st and the Orthodox Easter could be spent safely by the citizens, and the demonstrations organized in Vrancea county would take place without unwanted events.

To maintain order and public peace, between April 30 and May 6, over 80 pedestrian or car patrols acted daily.

57 preventive-reactive actions were carried out in an integrated system and 46 filters were carried out, during which 1481 people were identified.

Also, 590 tests were carried out to detect the consumption of alcohol or drugs.

Vrânci police officers intervened in 336 events, of which 280 were reported through 112.

Thus, 128 crimes were reported, of which 65 against the person, 26 against property, 16 crimes under the road safety regime and 20 crimes of another nature.

Also, 27 people were caught red-handed, investigated for committing crimes, two people being tracked nationally or internationally.

The police officers from Vrancea applied 1209 contraventional sanctions, in the amount of 381,000 lei.

As complementary measures, 81 driving licenses were suspended, of which 15 were due to the consumption of alcohol or other prohibited substances, 49 for exceeding legal speed limits, 17 for making irregular overtakings and 45 registration certificates were withdrawn .

During this period, on a daily basis, traffic and public order police acted on the national roads to streamline road traffic and prevent the occurrence of serious events.

The policemen from Vrancea will continue their actions in the next period as well, to prevent antisocial acts and ensure public order and peace.

The traffic police act with priority to detect those who exceed the legal speed, using the equipment provided by the Romanian Police, to monitor road traffic and measure the speed of vehicles.

Citizens who are still on vacation, we recommend that they do not forget about personal safety, so that this period does not end unhappily, respect the traffic rules and take measures to protect their personal belongings.

The missions carried out by the Vrânci firemen in
the May 1st mini-holiday and Easter Holidays

During this mini-holiday, in which International Labor Day and Orthodox Easter were celebrated, over 100 firefighters from the “Anghel Saligny” Emergency Situations Inspectorate of Vrancea county were on duty and constantly monitored the evolution of the dynamics in the field , in order to arrange, if necessary, immediate measures to optimize response missions in support of communities.

Thus, in the period 01 – 07 May, the military firefighters of Vrânci intervened in 119 missions, of which, 10 were for extinguishing fires, 1 extrication, 3 pyrotechnic missions, 2 assisting people, and SMURD paramedics were requested in 90 cases for granting emergency medical care and qualified first aid. Also, in order to prevent emergency situations, 9 military fire crews ensured measures to prevent emergency situations on the occasion of the Resurrection Service and carried out, in an organized manner, 4 reconnaissance and verification activities in the field at various objectives in the area of competence. At the same time, the specialists of the Preventive Inspection carried out 12 control and preventive information missions at places of worship in the county, in order to identify and eliminate the potential causes of fire and other specific irregularities.
One of the relevant situations that took place during this period was a fire at a house in the Mera commune, which broke out on Monday, May 06, in which, in addition to the material damage, unfortunately, a 60-year-old man lost his life.

The results of the missions carried out by the Vrânci gendarmes during the May 1st mini-holiday and the Easter Holidays

During the mini-holiday, the gendarmes acted with increased numbers to ensure a climate of order and public safety at sports events and in the area of ​​places of worship and cemeteries, on the access roads to them, but also during the religious services on the night of Resurrection took place both in the Municipality of Focșani and in other localities within the Vrancea County radius, increasing the safety of citizens being one of the main objectives of the Vrancea County Gendarmerie Inspectorate.

During the above-mentioned period, the Vrânceni gendarmes acted daily to prevent and combat antisocial acts, of a criminal or contraventional nature, independently as well as in an integrated system.

During the missions carried out, 66 contraventional sanctions were applied, in the total amount of 14,300 lei, as follows:

• 51 sanctions for acts provided by Law no. 61/1991 for the sanctioning of acts of violation of some norms of social coexistence, public order and peace;
• 12 sanctions for acts provided by Law no. 349/2002 for preventing and combating the effects of consumption of tobacco products;
• 1 sanction for acts provided by Emergency Ordinance no. 23/2008 on fishing and aquaculture;
• 2 sanctions for acts provided by Law no. 407/2006 on hunting and the protection of hunting stock.

An offense under Article 193, Penal Code – Hitting or other violence was also found.

The mountain gendarmes of Vrânce acted daily to maintain a climate of order and public safety, as well as to inform and provide support to tourists on the mountain trails.
