On Sunday, May 12, at 6:30 p.m., the National Theater of Opera and Operetta “Nae Leonard” brings to the stage a unique, original and emotional show inspired by the life and career of the legendary British singer – Amy Winehouse… too soon.
In an original directorial interpretation, signed by Dan Mirea and under the creative light of the modern scenography designed by Ionuţ Mitrofan, the show Amy Winehouse… too early brings to the fore the complexity and depth of a voice that shook the musical world, that inspired and influenced whole generations of singers.
Amy Winehouse, with her short and tumultuous life, was more than just an artist. She was a phenomenon, a force that redefined the musical genres of Jazz, Soul and R&B, leaving an immortal mark in the history of modern music. Every musical note, every verse written by Amy conveyed the intensity and depth of her emotions.
On stage, you will be able to watch: Irina Popa, Florentina Andronic, Mihail Anton, Andrei Ardeleanu, Cristina Boghici, Costel Donose, Cristina Isabela Ionaşcu, Adina Lazăr, Mariana Pisică and Alexandru Tatu, together with the Revistă orchestra, led by maestro Nicolae Mantu and the theater ballet.
