Over 1,500 spectators at the Easter concert in the center of Suceva –

More than 1,500 people, both locals and tourists from the country and abroad, gathered in the center of Suceva to participate in a special Easter concert, organized as part of the “Easter in Bucovina” program. The culminating moment was the extraordinary concert offered by maestro Ovidiu Lipan Șăndărică, accompanied by the “10 Prăjini” Fanfare.

On the first day of Easter, the Center of Suceva became the host of a special event, an Easter concert that gathered over 1500 enthusiastic spectators.

Organized as part of the Easter in Bucovina program, by the Suceava County Council, the Bucovina Cultural Center and the National Museum of Bucovina, the event was an occasion of joy and communion for the city’s residents and for visitors from the whole country and abroad. Before the start of the actual concert, the audience had special moments, being able to listen to the bells of Bucovina and short recitals of folk songs, performed by several children from the county. Among those present were local and county officials, including the president of the Suceava County Council, Gheorghe Flutur, the mayor of Suceava Ion Lungu and the vice-mayor of Suceava Lucian Harșovschi. The event was opened by the Bosnian men’s choir, with the traditional Christ is Risen, and numerous recitals by local artists and folklore groups from the region followed on stage. The culminating moment was the extraordinary concert given by maestro Ovidiu Lipan Șăndărică, accompanied by the Zece Prăjini brass band. To begin with, maestro Șăndărică charmed the audience with a traditional show of toca songs. Then he went on stage, together with the Fanfare Zece Prăjini.

Present at the event, the president of the Suceava County Council, Gheorghe Flutur, emphasized the importance of preserving local traditions and customs, highlighting the essential role that Bucovina plays in promoting the authentic Romanian and attracting tourists. Mayor Ion Lungu thanked the participants and expressed his desire for this program to continue in the years to come, bringing peace and tranquility to the community.
