An 8.3-kilometer section of the county road 795A, between the village of Șumugiu and the intersection with the road to Hidișelu de Sus, will be modernized, the design and execution works being put out to tender by the Bihor County Council.
“The sector that will be modernized has a length of 8.3 kilometers. The road is currently in an advanced state of degradation, making road traffic difficult. Through the implementation of the project, it is expected to reduce travel time by over 30%, meaning lower fuel costs and reduced pollution”, CJ Bihor representatives said on Tuesday.
They point out that, after the completion of the works, the locals of Şumugiu, Mierlău and other neighboring villages will have better access to National Road 76, through Hidișelu de Sus.
The estimated value of the investment is 29,373,780 lei, the amount including VAT.

The completion period is 16 months, of which 3 months is the period allocated for the design of the works, and 13 months for their execution.
Interested companies can submit offers until the end of May (May 31, 2024, 3 p.m.).
