The missions of the gendarmes from Tulcea during the mini-holiday of May 1 and Easter

• During the May 1st mini-holiday and during the Easter holidays, Tulcena gendarmes were with the citizens to prevent and combat anti-social acts.

During the executed missions, no major events were recorded, but the following facts were detected and sanctioned: 1 crime detected independently (hitting or other violence), 4 crimes in cooperation with the police (domestic violence, threat, hitting or other violence ) and 17 contraventional sanctions in the amount of over 5,000 lei.

According to IJJ Tulcea, the sanctions were applied for disturbance of public order and peace, consumption of alcohol in public space, requesting intervention on the spot without good reason, refusal to provide data to establish identity and recreational fishing in natural fish habitats during the prohibition period and in the protection zones.

In the coming period, the gendarmes will continue actions to prevent and combat antisocial acts.

“In this way, we remind citizens that they can request, whenever needed, the support of gendarmes in public order devices or by calling the single number for emergency calls 112.
