  • Adrian Sârbu: The referendum must be included in the decision-making mechanism.
  • Adrian Sârbu: Democratization is the absolutization of a party monopoly.
  • Adrian Sârbu: The governments during Iohannis did nothing.

“Today’s parties are communist in structure and operation, mafia in interests and democratic in their name, or with their name”, says Adrian Sârbu on ȘTIU PE CE LUME TRĂIESC, rebroadcast on May 6, at 10:00 p.m.

“Ceaușescu’s communism is gone, but arrogance remains in the genetic code of every politician. We live in the Romania of party democracy, of Democrativa. You swear at them and you don’t go to vote. You swear at them when you go to vote, and when you come back.
How did Democracy get derailed in Romania? How did Romania end up being led by impostors-doctors, by non-leaders?

Democracy is like air, you can breathe it if you keep it clean. I’ve never thought about how much a kilo of Democracy costs, but it’s a state. I firmly believe that Democracy is the social hypothesis of individual freedom”.

Democracy versus Democratic

“PNL-PSD, also called “Democrativa”, is the absolutely obvious expression of the political monopoly.
Why do parties have to be associations, NGOs, foundations that are different from any other organization? Why can’t the “pansy promotion organization” propose an independent pansy?

Politician is a word of honor. Politruc is a function, a job. Various citizens who have come to power use expressions like “population”, “people”, but that is during the term of office. As we approach the election, it’s “dear voters” and “dear pensioners”.

Democracy is an aberrant evolution, it is the drift of Democracy, because democracy is the absolutization of a monopoly. If we look a little at the lists of independent mayors, we see that there are 70, and the parties have thousands.
Some are more equal than others.”

Romania, in danger

“It’s not gratifying how our viewers voted. 93% agree that parties should no longer be financed from the public budget. 7% are exactly the number of budget holders. What happens to them? In one form or another, they are tied to the party. How could he not want to get his money where they get it? An opinion.

We are talking about a monopoly. Monopoly was born through political action, government action.
In a democracy, everyone must have equal conditions.

If through meritocratic practices, PNL or PSD or any other party would have responded to the needs of the citizens, and 3 would have voted for him, a year later 5 would have voted for him.

Today, the representatives of the so-called political class in Romania are the barons, the gushas, the lords, the oligarchs of Romania. They got rich from a public job they had no way of getting rich from. The problem is that they receive money directly from the state, when all parties should be financed in established ways in other states – not in European countries.

We must not go back to communism. In communism, the idea of individual freedom, of law, of creativity does not exist. The danger is visible in the world. The world is repolarizing between oligarchic dictators and democrats. Why are there no “Democrats” in America? A deviation happened with us”.

How do we break the monopoly?

“Parties forget voters when they come to power. The government must have a different structure. The referendum must be introduced into the decision-making mechanism. There are a lot of educated, capable people in this country. You are one of them, if you have shown your willingness to hold a public office, at least one term. We must reinvent ourselves, reinvent the parties and the leaders who represent us, Romania’s governance.

We will come up with the projects we promised you – that we are talking about electronic voting, changing the Constitution, Defense or Education strategy.

Democracy has derailed and we have to put it back on track.”

Do you agree that parties should NOT be financed from the public budget?

YES – 93%; NO – 7%

You have agreed that:
those whom you have mandated to represent your power in your locality and county exercise it for the benefit of their circle of interests.
the lists of supporters for local and county elections must be abolished.
lists of candidates to be proposed by: citizens, political parties and any non-profit organization.
