Two children were transported in serious condition to the hospital after being involved in an accident in the Nou village of Sibiu county.

The accident took place on Tuesday evening, in Nou village, Roșia commune. The two teenagers, aged 16, were on an ATV, and at one point they hit a car park. “From the first investigations carried out, it emerged that, while driving an ATV on Dealului street in the Nou village, a 16-year-old local resident lost control of the direction of travel and collided with a parked car”, Elena Welter said , the spokesperson of IPJ Sibiu.

The two minors suffered several traumas and abrasions. “ISU and SAJ crews assisted two 16-year-old minors who suffered head and upper limb trauma. The SAJ crew transported a person who suffered a fainting condition to the hospital. The 27-year-old man was not involved in the accident, as he is a relative of the victims,” ​​said Vasile Scridon, the spokesperson of SAJ Sibiu.

The boy who drove the ATV did not have a driver’s license and his breathalyzer test showed a result of 0.57 mg/l of pure alcohol in exhaled air.

In the case, investigations are being carried out under the aspect of committing the crimes of culpable bodily harm, driving without a license, respectively driving under the influence of alcohol.

No traffic problems.
