Columns of vehicles stretching for several kilometers were formed on the main roads in the Bulgarian city of Ruse, located on the border with Romania. Hundreds of cars registered in Romania are returning to the country, after what Romanian tourists finished their vacation in Bulgaria and Greece.

The two largest roads in the city of Ruse are very crowded on Monday afternoon, with hundreds of Romanian cars waiting in line to enter the Ruse-Giurgiu Border Crossing Point.

It is mostly about the Romanians who spent the Easter holidays in Bulgaria or Greece and who finished their vacation on Monday.

According to the online application of the Border Police, the crossing point from Ruse-Giurgiu is, moreover, among the most crowded for vehicles entering the country.

They expect around 40 minutes upon entering Romania, at Ruse-Giurgiu

Cars wait for approximately 40 minutes upon entering Romania, as four roads are open in the direction of entry into the country.

Also on the border with Bulgaria, the border crossing points at Vama Veche and Ostrov are crowded.
