The Police Inspectorate of Satu Mare County confirms – at the request of PresaSM – the case of the stabbing of a minor in Tașnad, in the area of ​​houses on Petru Maior street. Concretely, today, around 1:15 p.m., policemen from the Satu Mare County Police Inspectorate were alerted to the fact that a minor from Tășnad had been physically assaulted by a man. Following the checks carried out, the police found that a 66-year-old man allegedly caused several injuries to the 17-year-old minor, at her home, by using a kitchen knife.

Later, the man would also have caused himself injuries, by self-mutilation. Both people were transported to the hospital, for the provision of specialized medical care. In the case, the investigations are being continued in order to accurately establish all the circumstances in which the event occurred.

According to PresaSM information, the act would have amounted to attempted murder, which means that the blows inflicted on the victim by the aggressor could have been fatal or would have been applied directly to vital areas, repeatedly, with the intention of suppressing his life . Everything would have started from an older dispute, the victim being the lover of the aggressor’s son.

The man would have waited for the girl’s parents to leave the house, after which he would have entered the house and stabbed the girl several times, apparently causing wounds to the neck and chest. Afterwards, the man would have fled to a cemetery, located a few tens of meters away, where he would have tried to end his days. Only he was spotted and stopped by the police.

Both the victim and the aggressor arrived at the hospital for specialized medical care. The case will be taken over by a prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Satu Mare Court, who will establish the entire context in which the aggression occurred.

The prosecutors of the case would present the aggressor before the judge of rights and liberties with the proposal of preventive arrest for 30 days. Everything depends on the state of health of the aggressor, but the doctors will allow him to be discharged.
