The “Admiral Ion Murgescu” Military School of Military Foremen of the Naval Forces joined the eTwinning project “National Night of Classical High Schools 2024”. This project was created in 2014 by Professor Rocco Schembra, professor of Latin and Greek, researcher in classical philology at the University of Turin. Throughout the ten editions the project has gained more and more popularity, this year participating 350 schools from Italy and another 14 schools from Australia, Croatia, Germany, Greece, France, Romania, Slovenia, Spain and Turkey.

“The eTwinning project is characterized by the fact that its activities are carried out simultaneously on-site (in all participating schools) followed by an online meeting. The activities supported within this project through classical plays, poems, songs, presentations of fragments of history, representations of folk art, culinary customs from the gastronomy of ancient Rome, remind us that in the century in which Artificial Intelligence replaces man in all fields, art classical music manifested through the creativity of the students will continue to represent the beautiful in everyday life”, the representatives of the “Admiral Ion Murgescu” Military School of Military Majors conveyed.

The project activities were coordinated by teachers Irina Pavel, Dana Asofie and Nicoleta Florea.
