OFFICIALLY 2,500,000 pensioners will receive their pension on June in just 42 days. What is the explanation?

2,500,000 pensioners received their pension on the card 2 weeks earlier in May. And people who receive their monthly income by mail received their money a little earlier.

Pensions started to be delivered from Saturday 27th April until 3rd May.

There are 5,000,000 pensioners in Romania, and half of them opted to receive the money through the postmen in the first part of the month, starting on the 2nd. The other half of the pensioners receive their pensions on the card between the 12th and 14th of each month.

Pensioners received their pension on the card on May 2 and 3. The next pension, the one for the month of June, will come between June 12-14, i.e. in 42 days.

If they are not found at home, the pension, together with the pension slip, can be collected from post offices within two working days after the last pay day of the respective month.

On the 12th of each month, but no later than the 14th of each month, pensioners receive the money on the card.

When are pensions paid by post?

Between the 1st and 15th of the month – at the residence of the beneficiaries.

Thus, if pensioners received the money two weeks before it was due in May, in June they have to wait no less than 42 days until the next payment.

How are pension rights paid?

Depending on the option of the pensioner, the pension rights are paid by postal order, at the domicile of the beneficiary of the pension rights or of the trustee, or in a current account or card account at one of the banks with which the National Public Pension House has concluded agreements for the payment of the rights pension.

Pensions are paid from the date of grant, with the exception of early pension and partial early pension, which are paid from the date of termination of the insured status.
