Code yellow for heavy rains and strong wind in eight counties / Hail will fall in some areas

Meteorologists issued, on Sunday, several yellow code warnings, targeting amounts of precipitation and intensification of the wind. Nowcasting warnings are valid until 4:00 p.m. in dozens of localities in eight counties, informs News.ro.

According to ANM, one of the warnings concerns localities in Gorj and Mehedinţi counties.

From Gorj, the mountain area of ​​the locality of Padeş, but also the localities of Motru, Tismana, Matăsari, Padeş, Peştişani, Slivileşti, Cătunele, Godineşti, Câlnic, Glogova, Samarineşti, Ciuperceni.

In Mehedinţi county, Baia de Aramă, Bala, Şişeşti, Broşteni, Ponoarele, Floreşti, Isverna, Ilovaţ, Balta, Şovarna, Podeni, Bâlvăneşti, Godeanu.

“There will be: electrical discharges, small hail, showers that will locally accumulate 15…20 l/m2, short-term intensification of the wind”, the ANM also transmitted.
