Florin Piersic, aged 88, underwent knee surgery at the Cluj-Napoca Military Hospital, later being transferred to the Heart Institute in Cluj-Napoca to be monitored by doctors, news.ro reports. People were worried about the actor’s health, so they started asking questions about how he was doing.

“It is a time of silence, a time of collected thoughts, a time of putting in order what we feel, a time of tranquility. Whether we’re caught up in projects, or rushing towards a mini-vacation, or lying in a hospital bed. Good thoughts should neither be demonstrated nor declared at prime time, but should be allowed to exist. So forgive my lack of public reaction. Because I am convinced that all our good thoughts and prayers mean energy and that they are now directed to the one we all love, Florin Piersic.
