Where does the Holy Light from Jerusalem actually come from!

--

Father Pimen Vlad revealed what the truth is about the Holy Light, where it comes from and why it only comes on Orthodox Easter, as well as what attempts have been made to discredit this miracle, or, on the contrary, to confirm it:

The phenomenon of the Resurrection brings every year a clear proof of the existence of miracles, even if only a few have the privilege of witnessing the moment when the Holy Light lights up in Jerusalem. However, despite the skepticism of many, Father Pimen Vlad revealed how the flame is lit at the Holy Sepulcher on the night of the Resurrection and how it manifests itself in the sky, before it is given to those present to see the miracle and to pray.

“The light of the Resurrection, what is happening… God has left us so that every year we can experience a miracle there, like the Resurrection. Everyone gathers, prays, said many who saw it. Either it comes like lightning, or like some globes that fall there, the Holy Sepulcher is covered, but the lights come, enter there and suddenly it lights up, from there the Patriarch takes the light and everyone takes over from there. For many who are up there, at Golgotha, their candles are lit directly,” said father Pimen Vlad.

While many still doubt the existence of the Holy Light from Jerusalem, there are also many who have witnessed this phenomenon over time, and Father Pimen Vlad revealed two such stories.

“An abbot from Greece even tells that he once went with a group, there were about 30 people and they went up, because they had a view. As he was sitting there, a man came and asked him why he had come. He said he was here for the Holy Light. “What a holy light, these are lies, no Holy Light is coming.” He remained like that… and asked him how he could say that, and began to pray for the Holy Light to come, to his whole group of 30 s- they lit the candles alone. With such joy he returned to tell the other that the Holy Light had come, but he had disappeared,” continued the priest.

Father Pimen Vlad says that over time he has heard extremely many testimonies about how the Holy Light showed itself to people who believed in it and who prayed without interruption. “There are a lot of testimonies. Someone once told me that they had come from a foreign country, but they were not allowed to enter the fortress. He was with several people, including Romanians, and when they started to cry and pray, the candle was lit for all of them, they were right at the gate of the fortress. To see how many miracles are done these days,” he said.
