Firefighters intervene promptly to put out a fire in Băiculești township, Zigoneni village – in Argeş county.
Near midnight, the fire team from the Curtea de Argeș Detachment was alerted to intervene in a fire that broke out in a household in the village of Băiculesti, part of the commune of Zigoneni.

Faced with the flames that threatened to spread to a neighboring home, the firefighters moved to the scene promptly.
The team is equipped with two special vehicles for extinguishing fires and a qualified first aid SMURD ambulance.
The situation was critical, with the fire manifesting itself in a shed, a garage and a birdhouse, with a total area of approximately 100 square meters.
In addition, there was an imminent risk of the fire spreading to a nearby house.
While the flames threatened to become uncontrollable, the response team managed to safely evacuate three gas cylinders from inside the affected structures.
With the concerted efforts of the firefighters, the fire was extinguished within about an hour of the arrival of the response team.
Following preliminary analyses, the probable cause of the fire outbreak was identified as electrical in nature, starting from a faulty cable, not properly insulated or with damaged insulation.
