The accident took place in the town of Hirschbach, in Bavaria.

A 69-year-old German driver was traveling from Lahrndorf to Hirschbach on Wednesday, May 1.

At the intersection with road B 38 there was a collision with a car in which there were two Romanians aged 29 and 32.

Following the collision, the Romanians’ car deviated from its original trajectory, overturned and hit a tree.

The 32-year-old passenger was seriously injured in the accident and was pulled out of the wreckage of the car immediately after emergency crews administered first aid/

He was rushed to the hospital, as was the 29-year-old driver, who suffered injuries of an unspecified degree.

A breath test performed on the 69-year-old showed that he had consumed alcohol.

Three fire departments from Hirschbach, Waldburg and Reichenthal responded to the scene. Following the accident, the B 38 road was permanently closed until the intervention was completed and a temporary diversion was created through Schöndorf.
