Two bronze medals obtained at the National Interstyle Karate Championship, one of the most important national competitions in this discipline.

The event took place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Sepsi Arena, Sfântu Gheorghe, under the auspices of the Romanian Karate Federation and organized by the Sport-All Sports Club Association.

The competition hosted over 680 karatekas from 75 sports clubs in the country. 800 trials were held on the 8 tatami mats, where our athletes, trained by sensei Nicolae Stanciu, managed to return with two bronze medals, in the kumite events:

* Miclea Natalia – Kumite female cadets, -61 kg – 3rd place

* Priță Aris Luca – Kumite cadets-male, +70 kg – 3rd place

Also on the same day, the National University Karate Championship took place, where Dr. Nicolae Stanciu, orthopedic doctor, emeritus master of sports and doctoral student at the Doctoral School of Medicine and Pharmacy, represented the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences and Technology “George Emil Palade” from Târgu Mureș and won the bronze medal in the male-senior Kumite competition, +84 kg.
