Ștefan Coman, advisor to the president of the Tulcea County Council, participated, today, starting at 10:00 a.m., in the military and religious ceremonial organized on the occasion of the National Day of War Veterans.

Established by Government Decision no. 1222/10.10.2007, War Veterans’ Day is marked annually, on April 29, in recognition of their merits for everything they have achieved in order to ensure the defense of Romania’s independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and interests.

“For all Romanians, war veterans equate to the notion of professionalism, devotion, bravery. For us, war veterans are heroism, they are discipline. There are those who left behind families and friends and who set out on the road to save Romania. From the battle front, they guaranteed us today’s Romania, free Romania, sovereign Romania. Today, we have the opportunity to bow with respect to these veterans and show our appreciation for their contribution to the defense of independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and the interests of Romania throughout history. Happy birthday to everyone!” said Ștefan Coman during the event.
