A Romanian mayor gave himself a building permit and then built a castle, copied from the “Haunted Museum”

Surrounded by the Măgura forest, far from prying eyes, a PNL mayor built a castle for which he had no bureaucratic obstacles to overcome, because he gave the approval himself.

The castle built by the mayor seems inspired by the Iulia HD memorial museum. Moldovan. On the party line, the mayor is subordinate to the so-called Baron Lamborghini, Iulian Dumitrescu, placed under judicial control for allegedly taking bribes.

We are talking about Alin Moldoveanu, the mayor of Câmpina, who took care to transfer the palace built on a plot of over 500 square meters to his mother’s name.

The castle of the 75-year-old woman, with a pension of only 1,000 lei, has two floors, at least 10 rooms and over 150m of terraces. The mayor of Câmpina wanted to have an imposing building that would not be included in the declaration of assets, just as the amount of 900,000 euros is not included, Gândul journalists write.

Alin Moldoveanu’s political debut is special to say the least. He went from martial arts straight into the mayor’s office.

“I ran for Poiana Câmpina, at the suggestion of a good friend, Florin Anghel. Although I didn’t know much about the administration, it was a challenge that I set myself, I hoped to emerge victorious and I succeeded.

He also moved my residence from Câmpina to Poiana, so that I could run,” says Alin Moldoveanu, the mayor of Câmpina.

And he continued to be a candidate, until he reached the third mandate. Campion is, however, at houses and lands. In addition to the palace named after his mother, the mayor Alin Moldoveanu owns, according to the declaration of assets, two residential houses, another holiday home, as well as an apartment, respectively six plots of land.

It’s not bad at all in terms of cars either. He has three, including a Porsche, manufactured in 2017. Where else do you put the mayor of Câmpina, you come out a lover of art. He owns paintings worth 20,000 euros, all from a salary of almost 119,000 lei, respectively 8,700 lei, received from renting one of the four buildings.

Antena 3 CNN tried to get a reaction from the mayor of Câmpina, but Alin Moldoveanu could not be contacted.
