Lucian Viziteu submitted his candidacy for the position of mayor of Bacau Municipality

--

Lucian Viziteu announced today that he has submitted his candidacy for the position of mayor of the city. Also, on behalf of the United Right alliance, the list of councilors for CL was also submitted:

Today I officially submitted my candidacy for mayor and the team of councilors of the United Right alliance. What I know for sure is: We have been modernizing Bacăul for 3 and a half years, in all areas. Some people don’t like it and try to stop us. We already have major projects prepared for the next 4 years, with secured funding of over 80 million euros. I am convinced that the residents of Bacău want the modernization, not the pesedization of the city!” Mayor Viziteu sent

The list for the City Council is opened by the current mayor and candidate of the alliance for the position of mayor, Lucian-Daniel Stanciu-Viziteu (engineer doctor), followed by Felicia Ciobanu (economist engineer), Mocanu Adrian (entrepreneur) Nicu-Codrin Ignat (economist) , Leonard-Ioan Bulai (lawyer), Ciprian Andrei-Bolog (economist), Ioan-Alexandru Melinte (lawyer), Cătălin-Mihail Dinu (entrepreneur), Ștefan Laschi (administrator), Cătălin-Constantin Grințescu (lawyer) and Constantin-Alexandru Băcăuanu (economist).

Viziteu won the elections in 2020 after running on behalf of three parties PNL-USR-PLUS. This year he will also run in an alliance, being supported by USR-PMP-Forta Dreptei. Viziteu’s mandate was sprinkled with many scandals and criminal files: starting from the prosecution of his former advisor Ionut Avram to the apartment file, where Viziteu became an official suspect. Also, there are several investigations related to the implementation of European SMT funds and bike lanes.
